Even worse, they contain artificial sugar, which many consider to be even worse than regular old sugar. If you are a lover of ketchup, we've come up with a recipe for sugar-free ketchup that tastes AMAZING and lasts for weeks in the refrigerator so you can make a big batch of it, throw it into a container, and use it whenever you want some extra flavor with your meal!

This recipe is paleo, Whole30 compliant, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and, of course, sugar-free!

Total time: Overnight
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients

12 oz. tomato paste
4 tbsp apple cider vinegar (we use Bragg's)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (double check the ingredients don't include white wine or added sugar!)
1/3 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/8 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  2. Refrigerate overnight.
  3. Serve with anything and everything, especially our Gluten-Free Pigs-In-A-Blanket!
